Job Description 1) Serve as a point of student contact for prospective and admitted MAT candidates: Email/call potential applicants interested in speaking with current students during both the recruitment and admissions season. Meet with prospective students (e.g., this can include a “shadow” type experience; taking them to lunch; and staying in touch with them during the application process). Congratulate admitted students through phone calls/emails and serve as a resource during their decision process. 2) Serve as a program representative at various MAT related functions including: MAT information sessions; Student Admit Day; other recruitment event(s). 3) Assist with recruitment through social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
Job Requirements Must be a student enrolled in the MAT program who exhibits/possesses: A passion for the program and teaching, poise, excellent public speaking skills. An ability to present a critical and fair student perspective of the program. Reliability and willingness to assist with all recruitment and admissions-related tasks. Administrative (e.g., mail merge, nametags, programs) and/or social media skills.
