Job Description The audio digitizing assistant will digitize audio materials primarily from compact discs and long-playing (LP) records for use in Brown EARS audio reserves system. Working independently, monitor incoming requests queue from faculty and respond promptly. Assistant will work on other special projects from the archival audio collection as requested. Work will be lightly supervised with occasional consultation on damaged or poorly recorded original materials as well as on copyright issues. Work location: Orwig Music Library. Job Requirements -Prefer candidate with familiarity with audio editing, including Peak Pro, iTunes, and a range of audio file formats. -4-6 hours per week. -Strongly prefer candidate who is available during the week before spring or fall semester. -Must be a currently enrolled student this academic year.
