Job Description Job Description: The Alumni Relations Office Events Team is looking to hire students for various positions for Reunion Weekend, May 22-24, 2015 from Bell Hop, Concierge, and Registration Staff responsible for greeting returning alumni to campus as well as Class Staff liaisons and Event and Headquarters Staff who provide assistance and support to the Alumni Relations Department and alumni throughout the weekend. Below is a brief description of each position. For a more detailed job description please go to CLASS STAFF - Serve as a liaison between alumni classes and student supervisor(s) at events. EVENT STAFF - Assist in set-up tasks and breakdown of event logistics at various events on campus throughout weekend. CONCIERGE STAFF - Greet and assist alumni, answer phones and assist with Alumni Division Procession logistics. REGISTRATION STAFF - Greet alumni at registration site and hand out registration packets in addition to providing event support throughout the weekend. HEADQUARTERS STAFF - Troubleshoot, as needed, act as a messenger/and or runner for Alumni Relations Staff and events. BELL HOP - Assist alumni with their luggage once they arrive on-campus and provide event support throughout the weekend. BROWN BEAR - Entertain Brown Alumni and their children throughout the weekend dressed as Bruno
Job Requirements Job Requirements: All positions will be filled by students who have proven skills including: the ability to take initiative, pay close attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, the ability to remain flexible, possess a delightful personality and enjoy socializing with Brown alumni. Students who are hired will be required to attend an Open House on April 28 and four paid training sessions during the week of May 18-21. Some positions will require that you do pre-work prior to May 18th. All students will be required to work on Thursday, May 21, Friday, May 22, Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24. Student staff hired for these positions are required to work all shifts assigned throughout the weekend.
