Job Description The TechTA program is a collaboration of the Dean of the College and CIS' Academic Technology. The TechTA program funds undergraduate teaching assistants to work with faculty exploring the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning. Students will assist the instructor with the use of new classroom technology (e.g., interactive annotation smartboards, automated lecture capture, and video conferencing) or other technology tools for a specific course in which they are currently (or previously) enrolled. Skills with these tools are not required as students will be trained as needed by staff from CIS’ Academic Technology division.
Job Requirements A Faculty member must identify you to work with them for the semester. The Faculty member will submit this in an online proposal form: Students cannot apply independent of an instructor. Students will be trained as needed by staff from CIS’ Academic Technology division.
