Job Description The CIS Computer Education department is hiring students to provide computer training to undergrads as part of the PASS (Personal & Academic Software Skills) program. The PASS program offers courses in web publishing (HTML), In Design, Photoshop, Excel, Final Cut, and more. Classes are held on weekdays in the late afternoons and early evenings. PASS trainers will be provided with handouts and will have the opportunity to work with a trainer on course development and teaching techniques. This is a wonderful opportunity for students that love computers and want to get paid to improve their teaching and tutoring skills.
Job Requirements This year, we are looking to hire new trainers. Even if you only know one of these programs, but are willing and able to learn, please apply! In your application, please be specific about which topics are you are most interested and qualified to teach. 1. proficient in Audacity. 2. proficient in the Final Cut 3. proficient in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. 4. proficient in web development (HTML, CSS). 5. proficient in Excel Applicants should have effective communication skills and the desire to teach other students in a classroom setting.
