Job Description Undergraduate teaching assistants play a critically important role in Bio 0200. Being a TA for this class is a lot of work, but it is also rewarding. Most of our TAs elect to return to serve second terms. Each undergraduate TA is assigned to lead a group of 12-14 students in weekly laboratory or discussion sessions. The following list is a summary of additional Undergraduate TA responsibilities: • Attending lecture: MWF 11:00 – 11:50 • Attending weekly organizational meetings on Monday afternoons • Grading approximately 10 homework assignments over the course of the semester • Participation in the grading of 3 hourly and 1 final exam
Job Requirements Demonstrated mastery of basic concepts in general biology through performance in BIOL 0200 or a combination of AP/IB Biology and two or more other BIOL courses.

Hourly Rate $9.35/hour to $10.25/hour
